The radio sonde or
"mouse" is used in conjunction with a Cable Avoiding Tool. The
sonde is a small self-contained watertight transmitter, which
is attached to drain rods. It can then be pushed down
non-metallic pipes and ducts which can then be traced using
the Cable Avoiding Tool. |
