Conditions
of Hire |
|
All equipment is subject to our standard
terms and conditions printed on the reverse of our hire
contracts. |

Consumables/Wear
Charges
|
|
Consumables
used with equipment are chargeable as extra. Usually
consumables will be charged on a 'sale or return' basis. On
certain equipment wear charges are appropriate and will be
charged as extra. |
|
|
Damage/Cleaning
|
|
Extra
charges will be made for equipment returned damaged or not
cleaned. |
|
|
Delivery
|
|
Delivery
and collection is available on all items at extra cost. |
|
|
Deposits/Identification
|
|
A
deposit and more than one means of identification will be
required from all non-account customers. The amount of
the deposit varies with the type of equipment hired. Deposits
can be paid by cash, personal cheque with a bankers cheque
guarantee card, or credit card. We do not
normally cash deposit cheques, but
we reserve the right to do so. |

|
Insurance/Responsibility
|
|
As
per our conditions of hire, the Hirer is responsible for the
security of equipment on hire, and is advised to check that
insurance cover is adequate. The responsibility continues
until the equipment is returned to, or is collected by
ourselves. We can provide insurance cover at an extra charge,
and this is mandatory on some items for cash customers. |

Opening
Hours
|
|
Our
opening hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, and
8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. |
|
|
Rates
of Hire
|
|
1
day rate is 24 hours from time of collection. Weekend rate
applies to any item collected after 4 p.m. on Friday, or on
Saturday morning, and returned on Monday morning. If an item
is hired for more than one week, extra days are charged at 1/5
of the weekly rate. Rates for long term contract hire
are available. Please note that our prices are exclusive of
VAT. |

Safety
|
|
We
consider the safety or our customers to be paramount. All
steps are taken to ensure that our equipment is in good safe
condition and instructions are given concerning the safe
operation of equipment. Safety items are supplied with
equipment where appropriate. |
